360° Photography

The high end scanning machines used by the Scansurv team can also provide 360 photography images. These can be linked and used to navigate around buildings and sites to create a virtual tour.

360 photos are a spherical panoramic image with the added element of being interactive. The images capture a location at a moment in time from multiple angles which ensure no viewpoint is missed.

Below is an example of photos/images which can be achieved from one single scan location. Multiple scan can be taken to navigate where required.

The housing market has also now taken to adopting the use of virtual tours. Many of the properties on Rightmove and other property websites not only include the traditional 2D photographs  but also 360 virtual tours. These ‘Google Street View’  interactive tours allow potential homeowners to navigate a property long  after the initial viewing, or even in advance of or removing the need to attend for a viewing which can save time for the seasoned property expert, landlord and house mover.
